Telemetry should carry signals about its own quality. Instead of presenting every event as equally reliable, an observability system can expose evidence completeness, temporal consistency, provenance, and confidence.

Why it matters
Incident conclusions are only as strong as the evidence behind them. An explicit evidence-quality layer reduces false certainty and makes gaps visible before they are converted into an incorrect root-cause narrative.
